Arts Marketing & Strategy
Performing Arts are our Passion
For over 20 years - whether working in-house or within an agency - our thought process has always been the same:
-
How can we expand the audience of the show?
-
How can we better understand an audience member’s mind?
-
What resources do we have and how can we use them more effectively?
-
How can we listen to and engage the team around me to ensure that we are working together for the good of the show?
As arts marketing strategists, we never choose the show or the cast members, but we can find every possible way of making that show a success. Each project has unique challenges but what is true for each and every one is that, with a good team that asks key questions and is not afraid to fail, success will be found.
Our Services
Strategy
Strategic planning is all about defining your direction and long-term goals, creating specific plans to achieve them, implementing those plans, and evaluating the results. It is methodical, adaptive and iterative and there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution: there is just the solution for your project’s circumstances, right now.

Insights & Analytics
Iterative strategy and adaptive implementation are useless without a means to measure their effectiveness. Data and analytics build off each other to deliver insights into audience behavior. These insights provide essential wisdom about people who buy your tickets, revealing actions you can take to improve your sales.

Branding
Brand development is building a reputation, not focused merely on promotion, but rather on connection with your audience. It’s more strategic and long-term and more conceptual. It’s how you as a brand distinguish yourself from your competitors by developing a brand personality that supersedes mere branding.

Implementation
Implementation is also iterative. Work doesn’t stop as soon as you think you’ve reached your goal. It’s more important to be attentive, flexible, and willing to readjust strategy repeatedly than to adhere blindly to the original plan. Implementation must be as pragmatic as the changing circumstances of your project.

Project Management
Managing a project can’t be improvised. Each project is unique: there’s no miracle formula to success. It’s vital to select the most appropriate plan and execution, taking into account available resources, stakeholders, timeline and market conditions. It’s about attention to detail coupled with experience.

Team Management
Team management is about facilitating effective collaboration while enhancing individual productivity, by managing assignments, schedules and workload to deliver projects successfully. It’s adaptive and collegial, allowing issues to be resolved before they become problems that can sidetrack the project.
